A new karate and performing arts related project was announced mid September. Titled the “Tee! Tee! Tee! Project” and managed by the movie production company Sugar Train, it aims at the creation of an Okinawa Entertainment Non-verbal Performance theater and show within the prefecture. It should put on stage karate, Ryukyuan dances and other performing arts. Based on the concept of the “Nanta” show in Korea, it hopes to introduce the many cultural aspects of Okinawa to tourists regardless of nationality and languages. The show should start in autumn 2013.
